Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate , Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE: ENLT ), which rose 5.94% or 359.00 points to trade at 6,400.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE: OPCE ) added 3.33% or 110.00 points to end at 3,410.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE: ORA ) was up 2.58% or 590.00 points to 23,450.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE: CAMT ), which fell 3.41% or 1,050.00 points to trade at 29,780.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE: SKBN ) declined 2.46% or 31.00 points to end at 1,230.00 and Nova (TASE: NVMI ) was down 1.24% or 1,220.00 points to 97,280.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 264 to 190 and 81 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE: OPCE ) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.33% or 110.00 to 3,410.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.70% or 0.50 to $72.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.58% or 0.44 to hit $76.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 1.64 to trade at $2,950.64 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.18% to 3.54, while EUR/ILS fell 0.38% to 3.69.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 107.05.
