Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms , Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metso Oyj (HE: METSO ), which rose 7.84% or 0.69 points to trade at 9.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE: ORNBV ) added 7.78% or 3.90 points to end at 54.05 and Kalmar Oyj (HE: KALMAR ) was up 1.98% or 0.52 points to 26.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Qt Group Oyj (HE: QTCOM ), which fell 18.30% or 12.95 points to trade at 57.80 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE: NOKIA ) declined 9.25% or 0.43 points to end at 4.26 and Sampo Oyj A (HE: SAMPO ) was down 3.68% or 0.33 points to 8.68.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 98 to 71 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Qt Group Oyj (HE: QTCOM ) fell to 52-week lows; losing 18.30% or 12.95 to 57.80.
Brent oil for June delivery was down 0.06% or 0.04 to $66.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $62.31 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.42% or 46.89 to trade at $3,340.99 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.42% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.04% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 99.27.
