Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.20%.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Subsea 7 SA (OL: SUBC ), which rose 2.93% or 4.30 points to trade at 151.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ) added 2.92% or 44.00 points to end at 1,551.00 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL: NOD ) was up 2.69% or 3.10 points to 118.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL: NEL ), which fell 4.54% or 0.11 points to trade at 2.35 at the close. Tomra Systems ASA (OL: TOM ) declined 1.89% or 2.90 points to end at 150.50 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL: GJFG ) was down 1.78% or 4.40 points to 242.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 154 to 112 and 32 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.58% or 0.36 to $62.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.48% or 0.32 to hit $66.44 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.31% or 43.19 to trade at $3,337.29 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was down 0.55% to 11.84, while USD/NOK fell 1.04% to 10.41.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 99.18.
