Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.04% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE: NVMI ), which rose 4.12% or 2,740.00 points to trade at 69,300.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE: SKBN ) added 3.22% or 37.00 points to end at 1,185.00 and Israel Corp (TASE: ILCO ) was up 1.67% or 1,860.00 points to 112,910.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE: ENLT ), which fell 1.83% or 108.00 points to trade at 5,802.00 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE: ESLT ) declined 1.50% or 2,060.00 points to end at 135,350.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE: ENOG ) was down 1.45% or 61.00 points to 4,153.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 232 to 212 and 93 ended unchanged.

Shares in Israel Corp (TASE: ILCO ) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.67% or 1,860.00 to 112,910.00.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.63% or 0.39 to $62.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.56% or 0.37 to hit $66.49 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.35% or 44.49 to trade at $3,338.59 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.55% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.03% to 4.12.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 99.18.
