Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Cement , Media & Publishing and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL: 2300 ), which rose 9.97% or 6.30 points to trade at 69.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Derayah Financial CJSC (TADAWUL: 4084 ) added 8.22% or 2.35 points to end at 30.95 and Saudi Darb Investment Co (TADAWUL: 4130 ) was up 6.34% or 0.21 points to 3.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mulkia Gulf Real Estate REIT (TADAWUL: 4336 ), which fell 4.71% or 0.26 points to trade at 5.26 at the close. Musharaka REIT (TADAWUL: 4335 ) declined 3.51% or 0.17 points to end at 4.67 and Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL: 2110 ) was down 3.20% or 4.60 points to 139.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 210 to 110 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.54% or 0.96 to $63.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.24% or 0.82 to hit $66.94 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.70% or 56.09 to trade at $3,350.19 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.48% to 4.27, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 99.15.
