Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.59%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ), which rose 2.93% or 12.30 points to trade at 432.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: NOVOb ) added 2.68% or 10.80 points to end at 414.30 and Rockwool AS B (CSE: ROCKb ) was up 2.51% or 7.00 points to 295.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ), which fell 1.78% or 4.60 points to trade at 253.50 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE: NSISb ) declined 0.46% or 1.90 points to end at 411.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE: MAERSKb ) was down 0.23% or 25.00 points to 10,970.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 42 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.78% or 4.60 to 253.50.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.00% or 1.26 to $61.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.10% or 1.38 to hit $64.42 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.25% or 41.29 to trade at $3,339.69 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.56, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 99.07.
