Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking , Beverage and Transport sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.71%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Bmce Bank (CSE: BOA ), which rose 6.93% or 14.00 points to trade at 216.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Realis. Mecaniques (CSE: SRM ) added 6.34% or 31.00 points to end at 520.00 and Label Vie (CSE: LBV ) was up 3.12% or 130.00 points to 4,297.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Micro Data SA (CSE: MIC ), which fell 5.82% or 48.90 points to trade at 791.10 at the close. Nationale d’Electrolyse et de Petrochimie Ste SA (CSE: SNP ) declined 2.45% or 17.80 points to end at 710.00 and Residences Dar Saada SA (CSE: RDS ) was down 1.34% or 1.55 points to 114.45.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 33 to 19 and 6 ended unchanged.

Shares in Bmce Bank (CSE: BOA ) rose to 5-year highs; rising 6.93% or 14.00 to 216.00.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.63% or 1.03 to $61.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.70% or 1.12 to hit $64.68 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.17% or 38.51 to trade at $3,336.91 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.05% to 10.52, while USD/MAD rose 0.20% to 9.27.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 99.06.
