Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.68%.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ), which rose 2.89% or 0.39 points to trade at 13.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Yara International ASA (OL: YAR ) added 2.51% or 8.50 points to end at 347.00 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL: TOM ) was up 2.33% or 3.60 points to 158.30 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL: GOGL ), which fell 1.62% or 1.30 points to trade at 79.00 at the close. Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL: HAUTO ) declined 0.95% or 0.76 points to end at 79.15 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL: NHY ) was down 0.21% or 0.12 points to 56.38.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 161 to 118 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.40% or 0.88 to $62.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.47% or 0.97 to hit $64.83 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.26% or 41.66 to trade at $3,340.06 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was down 0.09% to 11.80, while USD/NOK fell 0.45% to 10.37.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 99.07.
