Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financial Services & Real Estate , Building & Construction and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 fell 0.07%.

The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Grifols SA (BME: GRLS ), which rose 1.71% or 0.16 points to trade at 9.53 at the close. Meanwhile, Bankinter (BME: BKT ) added 1.29% or 0.15 points to end at 11.77 and Indra A (BME: IDR ) was up 1.20% or 0.40 points to 33.68 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME: SLRS ), which fell 4.05% or 0.28 points to trade at 6.54 at the close. Banco de Sabadell SA (BME: SABE ) declined 1.59% or 0.05 points to end at 2.78 and ACS Actividades de Construccion y Servicios SA (BME: ACS ) was down 1.56% or 0.95 points to 60.05.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 97 to 93 and 26 ended unchanged.

Shares in Bankinter (BME: BKT ) rose to all time highs; up 1.29% or 0.15 to 11.77. Shares in Indra A (BME: IDR ) rose to all time highs; up 1.20% or 0.40 to 33.68.

Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.91% or 29.99 to $3,314.59 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 0.79% or 0.49 to hit $61.54 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 0.76% or 0.50 to trade at $64.88 a barrel.

EUR/USD was up 0.58% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.68% at 99.30.
