Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.65% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL: NEL ), which rose 6.72% or 0.17 points to trade at 2.64 at the close. Meanwhile, Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ) added 3.41% or 57.50 points to end at 1,743.00 and Mowi ASA (OL: MOWI ) was up 2.04% or 3.90 points to 194.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL: GOGL ), which fell 4.50% or 3.65 points to trade at 77.40 at the close. Tomra Systems ASA (OL: TOM ) declined 4.46% or 6.90 points to end at 147.80 and Frontline Ltd (OL: FRO ) was down 2.09% or 3.90 points to 182.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 140 to 128 and 34 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.06% or 0.04 to $62.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $65.38 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 23.31 to trade at $3,307.91 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was down 0.51% to 11.50, while USD/NOK fell 1.02% to 10.14.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.59% at 99.39.
