Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate , Oil & Gas and Insurance sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.62%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE: OPCE ), which rose 5.54% or 202.00 points to trade at 3,846.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE: CAMT ) added 1.70% or 390.00 points to end at 23,340.00 and Strauss Group (TASE: STRS ) was up 1.57% or 137.00 points to 8,878.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE: ENOG ), which fell 3.17% or 137.00 points to trade at 4,190.00 at the close. Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE: MVNE ) declined 2.98% or 33.00 points to end at 1,075.00 and Dimri (TASE: DIMRI ) was down 2.68% or 860.00 points to 31,240.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 342 to 123 and 73 ended unchanged.

Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE: OPCE ) rose to 52-week highs; rising 5.54% or 202.00 to 3,846.00.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.08% or 0.05 to $62.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $65.39 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 23.89 to trade at $3,308.49 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.80% to 3.55, while EUR/ILS rose 1.32% to 4.02.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.59% at 99.39.
