Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services , Consumer Goods and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 declined 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Sacyr SA (BME: SCYR ), which rose 1.19% or 0.04 points to trade at 3.57 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco de Sabadell SA (BME: SABE ) added 1.18% or 0.03 points to end at 2.82 and SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME: SLRS ) was up 0.89% or 0.06 points to 6.59 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ArcelorMittal SA (BME: MTS ), which fell 3.64% or 1.01 points to trade at 26.70 at the close. Acerinox (BME: ACX ) declined 2.23% or 0.24 points to end at 10.50 and Fluidra (BME: FLUI ) was down 2.21% or 0.48 points to 21.26.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 124 to 68 and 22 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.66% or 21.79 to $3,291.71 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.27% or 0.78 to hit $60.79 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 1.39% or 0.90 to trade at $64.01 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.41% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.44% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 99.78.
