Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology , Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 fell 0.64%.

The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Bper Banca SpA (BIT: EMII ), which rose 2.58% or 0.20 points to trade at 7.86 at the close. Meanwhile, Banca Popolare di Sondrio ScpA (BIT: BPSI ) added 1.82% or 0.22 points to end at 12.05 and Italgas SpA (BIT: IG ) was up 0.99% or 0.07 points to 7.14 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Stellantis NV (BIT: STLAM ), which fell 3.88% or 0.37 points to trade at 9.16 at the close. Moncler SpA (BIT: MONC ) declined 3.39% or 1.92 points to end at 54.80 and Tenaris SA (BIT: TENR ) was down 2.22% or 0.33 points to 14.33.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 383 to 194 and 41 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.27% or 0.78 to $60.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.36% or 0.88 to hit $64.03 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 22.29 to trade at $3,291.21 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.41% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.45% to 0.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 99.79.
