Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Information Technology , Oil & Gas and Energy sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 lost 0.97%.

The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Synektik (WA: SNTP ), which rose 0.54% or 1.20 points to trade at 222.40 at the close. Meanwhile, CCC SA (WA: CCCP ) added 0.39% or 0.90 points to end at 229.10 and mBank SA (WA: MBK ) was up 0.35% or 2.80 points to 802.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pepco Group Nv (WA: PCOP ), which fell 9.21% or 1.70 points to trade at 16.70 at the close. Asseco Poland SA (WA: ACPP ) declined 5.64% or 10.00 points to end at 167.20 and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA (WA: PGE ) was down 2.83% or 0.27 points to 9.21.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 329 to 193 and 103 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.07% or 0.66 to $60.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.14% or 0.74 to hit $64.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 21.61 to trade at $3,291.89 a troy ounce.

EUR/PLN was up 0.27% to 4.25, while USD/PLN rose 0.68% to 3.77.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 99.77.
