Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media , Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 1.40%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL: NOD ), which rose 3.71% or 4.50 points to trade at 125.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Yara International ASA (OL: YAR ) added 1.19% or 4.40 points to end at 373.70 and Telenor ASA (OL: TEL ) was up 0.20% or 0.30 points to 153.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL: NEL ), which fell 7.73% or 0.20 points to trade at 2.43 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ) declined 4.70% or 0.66 points to end at 13.38 and SalMar ASA (OL: SALM ) was down 3.77% or 17.80 points to 453.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 198 to 67 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in Yara International ASA (OL: YAR ) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.19% or 4.40 to 373.70. Shares in SalMar ASA (OL: SALM ) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.77% or 17.80 to 453.80.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.01% or 0.62 to $60.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.03% or 0.67 to hit $64.24 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 12.49 to trade at $3,301.01 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.39% to 11.51, while USD/NOK rose 0.83% to 10.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 99.80.
