Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms , Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Metlen Energy & Metals AE (AT: MYTr ), which rose 3.07% or 1.36 points to trade at 45.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Elvalhalcor Hellenic Copper and Aluminium Industry SA (AT: ELHA ) added 2.03% or 0.05 points to end at 2.27 and Aegean Airlines (AT: AGNr ) was up 1.95% or 0.24 points to 12.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orilina Properties AEEAP (AT: ORILINAr ), which fell 6.08% or 0.05 points to trade at 0.77 at the close. Gr Sarantis SA (AT: SRSr ) declined 4.00% or 0.56 points to end at 13.44 and Petros Petropoulos SA (AT: PTRr ) was down 2.97% or 0.28 points to 9.16.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 79 to 44 and 19 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.41% or 13.44 to $3,300.06 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 0.89% or 0.55 to hit $61.02 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 0.92% or 0.60 to trade at $64.31 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.41% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.40% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 99.79.
