Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 1.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Elisa Oyj (HE: ELISA ), which rose 0.64% or 0.30 points to trade at 47.14 at the close. Meanwhile, Fortum Oyj (HE: FORTUM ) added 0.17% or 0.03 points to end at 15.08 and Kojamo (HE: KOJAMO ) was up 0.10% or 0.01 points to 10.03 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE: STERV ), which fell 2.89% or 0.26 points to trade at 8.86 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ) declined 2.69% or 1.85 points to end at 67.00 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE: WRT1V ) was down 2.59% or 0.46 points to 17.33.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 121 to 41 and 24 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for July delivery was up 0.57% or 0.37 to $64.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.67% or 0.41 to hit $61.61 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.03% or 67.01 to trade at $3,362.01 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.61% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 99.13.
