Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Frontline Ltd (OL: FRO ), which rose 2.71% or 4.80 points to trade at 182.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Equinor ASA (OL: EQNR ) added 0.88% or 2.10 points to end at 239.80 and Mowi ASA (OL: MOWI ) was up 0.86% or 1.60 points to 188.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL: NOD ), which fell 3.18% or 4.00 points to trade at 121.80 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL: GOGL ) declined 2.75% or 2.05 points to end at 72.55 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ) was down 2.24% or 0.30 points to 13.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 143 to 131 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.47% or 0.29 to $61.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.37% or 0.24 to hit $64.68 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.95% or 64.30 to trade at $3,359.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.21% to 11.47, while USD/NOK fell 0.79% to 10.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.69% at 99.16.
