Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media , Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.64%.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL: TGS ), which rose 1.80% or 1.50 points to trade at 84.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ) added 1.26% or 22.50 points to end at 1,813.50 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ) was up 0.99% or 0.14 points to 13.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Frontline Ltd (OL: FRO ), which fell 4.06% or 7.65 points to trade at 180.95 at the close. Nel ASA (OL: NEL ) declined 2.79% or 0.07 points to end at 2.30 and Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ) was down 2.34% or 1.24 points to 51.72.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 148 to 124 and 30 ended unchanged.

Shares in Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.26% or 22.50 to 1,813.50.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.28% or 0.78 to $61.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.05% or 0.67 to hit $64.24 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.49 to trade at $3,328.79 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.00% to 11.50, while USD/NOK rose 0.21% to 10.17.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 99.72.
