Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism , Insurance and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.17%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL: 4240 ), which rose 5.77% or 0.90 points to trade at 16.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Ataa Educational Co (TADAWUL: 4292 ) added 5.46% or 3.20 points to end at 61.80 and Kingdom Holding Company (TADAWUL: 4280 ) was up 5.22% or 0.43 points to 8.66 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Banan Real Estate Company SJSC (TADAWUL: 4324 ), which fell 2.40% or 0.11 points to trade at 4.48 at the close. Nama Chemicals Co. (TADAWUL: 2210 ) declined 1.78% or 0.50 points to end at 27.55 and Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL: 4322 ) was down 1.53% or 0.22 points to 14.16.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 251 to 77 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in Banan Real Estate Company SJSC (TADAWUL: 4324 ) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.40% or 0.11 to 4.48.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.38% or 0.84 to $61.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.20% or 0.76 to hit $64.33 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 10.76 to trade at $3,339.06 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.11% to 4.24, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 99.62.
