Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.38%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ECO ), which rose 1.70% or 30.00 points to trade at 1,790.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC: CFV_p ) added 0.99% or 160.00 points to end at 16,400.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC: DVI_p ) was up 0.87% or 200.00 points to 23,300.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bancolombia Pf (BVC: BIC_p1 ), which fell 3.82% or 1,700.00 points to trade at 42,800.00 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC: ISA ) declined 2.48% or 500.00 points to end at 19,700.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC: CCB ) was down 1.82% or 200.00 points to 10,760.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for July delivery was down 2.75% or 9.95 to $351.75 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.59% or 57.00 to hit $9,682.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 16.10 to trade at $3,312.20 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.00% to 4,125.23, while BRL/COP unchanged 0.00% to 724.74.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 99.82.
