Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials , Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI added 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI were Ibersol SGPS (ELI: IBS ), which rose 4.63% or 0.44 points to trade at 9.94 at the close. Meanwhile, Mota Engil SGPS SA (ELI: MOTA ) added 3.90% or 0.17 points to end at 4.58 and Altri SGPS SA (ELI: ALSS ) was up 1.51% or 0.08 points to 5.37 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sonae SGPS SA (ELI: YSO ), which fell 1.94% or 0.02 points to trade at 1.22 at the close. Galp Energia Nom (ELI: GALP ) declined 0.36% or 0.05 points to end at 13.95 and Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA (ELI: RENE ) was down 0.17% or 0.01 points to 2.91.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 17 to 10 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ibersol SGPS (ELI: IBS ) rose to 5-year highs; rising 4.63% or 0.44 to 9.94.
Brent oil for August delivery was down 1.18% or 0.76 to $63.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.02% or 0.63 to hit $61.21 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.86% or 28.50 to trade at $3,350.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.72% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.45% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 99.24.
